Coral reefs are some of the most important ecosystems on Earth. Scientists believe coral reefs date back to 400 million years ago. Today coral reefs provide a diverse habitat for as much as 25% of all marine wildlife! But exactly what is coral? And how do coral reefs form? In this study we’ll learn about corals and the coral reef ecosystem.
