Mountains are home to rich habitats, both terrestrial and aquatic. They can be found on every continent and even on Earth’s ocean floors. They cover about 25% of Earth’s land area but they are home to more than 85% of the world’s amphibians, birds, and mammals! Let’s explore more about our world’s mountains. In this study we’ll learn about how mountains form, mountain ecology, familiarize ourselves with some of the most amazing mountain ranges on our planet, and so much more!

This study is meant for all ages! I've included activities for preschool aged and elementary age students everything can be adapted for older children.
